My name is Milo Joker and I am a videographer and photographer with several years of professional experience. Since an early age I always enjoyed being behind the camera. Armed with a flip-out video camera and GoPro, the passion started with goofy short films and branched into snowboarding and skateboarding videos. Fast forward a few years and I received my Bachelor’s Degree in communications with a major in Journalism and Electronic Media from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While there, I gained experience working with some documentary film production companies in the area and abroad. In my free time, I enjoy running, biking, and hanging out with my dog.
Current Gear
Sony a7iv – An amazing hybrid camera at 33mp for both stills and videography. With the ability to shoot in 10bit color and LOG format, you have plenty of options for post production. Being able to shoot in 4k 60fps means you can have that buttery smooth slow-motion video as well.
DJI Ronin RS3 – While not necessary for every job, it is a great tool for getting stabilized footage and let’s be honest, it looks cool.
Rode Video Mic Pro – Both the Wireless livelier and wired shotgun microphones are some of the best for run and gun set-ups.
Various Lenses – Sony 24-105mm f4 is a fantastic and sharp lens that works great for most applications. A 75mm f1.8 for portraits & bokeh shots (blurry background) as well as an 18mm f2.8 for wide shots and real estate applications.
DJI Action 4 – A great action camera that has the ability to shoot 4k 10bit and has amazing image stabilization.
DJI Pocket 2 – A solid option for a B cam when the video is for social media.
